Sally Ryan grew up in Texas and still slips in a y'all or two at home in Chicago. She shoots because she loves the opportunities a camera creates.

Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Spin, Time Out Chicago, Time, Inc., MSNBC.com, The London Times, The Dallas Morning News, Saturday Evening Post, The Minneapolis Star-Tribune, The San Francisco Chronicle and The Onion A.V.
