Bio

Sally Ryan, who never writes in the third person, grew up in Texas and still slips in a y'all or two at home in Chicago. She shoots because she loves the opportunities a camera affords.

Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Spin, The London Times, The Dallas Morning News, The Minneapolis Star-Tribune, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Onion A.V. Club, Newton Magazine (It.), and numerous other publications.
